Package Specialist Salesforce Technical Operations

CTG is seeking to fill a Package Specialist Salesforce Technical Operations for our client in Waukegan, IL

Location: Waukegan, IL

Duration: 12 months

Duties:

Design scalable, secure, high-performance Salesforce solutions that meet complex business requirements.

Lead end-to-end Salesforce implementation projects, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to best practices.

Provide ongoing Application Management Services (AMS) support, including troubleshooting, optimization, and enhancements.

Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders for cohesive solution delivery.

Enforce data-governance, security, and integration standards.

Translate business needs into technical specifications; oversee configuration and customization.

Monitor and maintain Salesforce system health and performance.

Evaluate and introduce new Salesforce features for continuous improvement.

Skills:

Deep knowledge of Salesforce architecture (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Lightning).

Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, and Salesforce APIs.

Strong grasp of integration patterns and middleware tools.

Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, leadership, and project-management abilities.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to bridge technical and business teams.

Experience:

8+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience, with 4+ years in a senior architect or lead role.

Proven success managing multiple Salesforce implementations and AMS engagements in consulting environments.

Experience with Salesforce DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and version-control tools.

Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver results under tight deadlines.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

Salesforce certifications (e.g., Technical Architect, Application Architect, System Architect) highly preferred.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $70.00/hour to $75.00/hour. Salary offers are based on relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. A competitive benefits package is also offered.
