Job Description
The VP, Customer Reporting & Data Enablement will lead the organizational transformation of the PBM client reporting, data governance, and operational experience into a strategic capability that drives internal and external decision making to optimize pharmacy spend and strengthen customer relationships. This role will be responsible for guiding strategic direction of data governance to ensure technology being built is aligned with the PBM and Enterprise data strategy. In this role, the VP will oversee the development of PBM client reporting tools, systems and operational processes that focus on meeting critical client data and reporting needs.
This position requires an agile leader, who can set direction and pivot between multiple high-profile initiatives. Also, strong collaboration skills are necessary, working cross-functionally with other internal and external teams including but not limited to Regulatory Affairs, Account Management, Sales Operations, IT, Data & Analytics, and clients. The ideal candidate will have strong independent leadership skills, strong financial acumen, a robust technical skillset, as well as analytical and communication skills. In addition, the individual must be able to independently interact with and influence a wide range of senior stakeholders and demonstrate a consistent track record of delivering results.
Major Responsibilities
Shape and oversee the strategy and direction of a unified reporting product that is highly automated and insights-oriented, with streamlined processes to reduce administrative burden on the organization and its clients.
Develop strategic relationships with executive leadership throughout the organization to delivery customer reporting & data enablement strategies that meet business, regulatory and client requirements.
Shape the strategy and direction of the Client Reporting Product and lead a team to continually evolve the product to meet changing customer and market needs.
Pursue process improvement, streamlining, and automation opportunities that improve organizational efficiency and deliver better customer experience.
Partner with both technical and business application owners to ensure application development is aligned with data strategy and governance.
Develop a financial acumen across the organization that permits stronger decision making.
Supporting CVS Health in attracting, retaining, and engaging a consumer-centric workforce that delivers on our purpose and reflects the communities in which we work, live, and serve.
Required Qualifications
15 years of demonstrated increasing responsibility roles in corporate environments
15 years of demonstrated organizational skills (e.g., project management experience or managing cross-team/department initiatives with demonstrated success)
15 years of leadership experience (direct report experience or equivalent experience without direct report)
15 years of experience with executing on strategic initiatives to drive improved operational performance
Proven experience developing and executing business strategy
Knowledge of advanced delivery methodologies
Familiarity with one or more leading BI platforms (e.g., MicroStrategy, Tableau) and data process technologies (e.g., relational databases, SAS, SQL, R, Python, RPA automation platforms)
Experience/Knowledge of SAP/HANA
Experience in highly regulated and compliance environment

The typical pay range for this role is:
$210,000.00 - $310,000.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
