About this role
As part of our Marketing team, the Product Marketing Associate will play a key role in shaping how we communicate the value of our products to the market. This role reports into the Director of Marketing and is ideal for someone who is equal parts creative and analytical - someone who thrives at the intersection of storytelling, customer insight, and go-to-market strategy.
In this role, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams - including Product, Sales, and Customer Success - to gain a deep understanding of our users, market landscape, and product offerings. You'll help refine product positioning, craft compelling messaging, and support the creation of go-to-market programs that drive awareness, adoption, and growth. You'll also serve as a key voice of the customer within the organization, advocating for user needs and market feedback.
In addition, you will work closely with the Director of Marketing to execute on general items for the marketing team. Support and coordination for events, social media, campaigns and overall marketing strategy.
What you'll do:
Support and help execute integrated product marketing strategies in collaboration with Marketing, Product, and GTM teams.
Partner with Product teams to develop strong, differentiated product positioning and messaging that resonates with key customer segments.
Assist in developing core product narratives, value propositions, and launch materials for Screencastify's offerings.
Conduct primary and secondary market research, including customer and prospect interviews, competitive analysis, and industry trend monitoring.
Support in the mapping and optimization of user journeys across the funnel to improve acquisition, activation, engagement, and conversion for both individual (B2C) and organizational (B2B) users.
Contribute to product-led growth initiatives by identifying in-product opportunities and messaging that drive upgrades, feature adoption, and retention.
Create and maintain a variety of customer-facing and sales enablement content, including product landing pages, presentations, videos, blog posts, and case studies.
Support product and feature launches by planning, executing, and measuring launch campaigns in close coordination with cross-functional partners.
Enable the Sales and Customer Success teams with the tools, collateral, and training they need to effectively communicate product value.
Help track and report on the effectiveness of product marketing efforts, identifying opportunities for optimization.
Requirements
You're perfect for this role if you:
Bring 2+ years of experience in product marketing, marketing, or a related role.
Have strong copywriting, storytelling, and communication skills.
Possess a passion for understanding customer needs and turning insights into compelling messaging and campaigns.
Have a curious mindset with a desire to learn about products, users, markets, and new marketing approaches.
Can manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Bring design, video creation, and creative skills, which are a plus.

This is a Chicago-based hybrid position with 3 days a week in the office.
Compensation
The expected salary range for this role is anticipated to start at $65,000. Final compensation may vary based on experience, qualifications and geographic location.
