About the Engineering Team
The Engineering team at Walmart is dedicated to creating robust, scalable, and efficient software that powers our extensive retail operations. We operate in a fast-paced environment, leveraging agile methodologies to deliver high-quality solutions. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing new features, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.
What You'll Do
Contribute to product requirements : Review and create detailed technical requirements.
Design and architect solutions : Develop new products and improve existing software systems.
Proto@type and document : Create proto@types, design documents, and technical tasks with implementation plans.
Develop core components : Write and review code to ensure alignment with design specifications.
Quality assurance : Develop tools to automatically detect defects and measure product quality.
What You'll Bring
Experience : 6+ years in architecture, design, software development, and code review for consumer electronic devices.
Education : Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
Technical Skills : Proficient in C, C+/C+11, JavaScript, JSON, and media pipeline stacks.
Specialized Knowledge : Experience with video streaming technologies, Digital Rights Management, and audio/video formats.
Soft Skills : Excellent communication, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive, self-motivated approach.
