Supply Chain Intern

Reporting To: Supply Chain Manager

Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 / hour

Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and responsible student to apply their knowledge and education while gaining invaluable hands-on, practical experience in the professional setting. This position reports to supply chain manager and supports the general supply chain function in a variety of operations activities and special projects as assigned

Key Responsibilities

Material planning:

Collect all the data base related with material planning

Analyze all the inventory with inventory reduction proposal

Order management:

Review forecast and actual orders with gap analysis

Follow order release date

Production planning

Track WO release date with actual production start date

Review production process and highlight the risk from production WIP tracking

System schedule date review to ensure the accuracy and timely update

Out sourcing order and assignment follow up

Daily on time delivery follow up

Import/export logistic and trade compliance

1 or 2 key customer production process and delivery follow up

Inventory counting support if necessary

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Good communication skills and teamwork mindset

Good at data analysis

Logical thinking and result-driven

Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Strong technical presentation skills

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in supply chain related

One element in our total compensation package is base pay. The starting pay for this role is targeted to be between $20 and $25 per hour.

Individual compensation decisions are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to previous experience and skills acquired prior to joining Knowles, cost of living in the assigned work location, assigned schedule, and salaries of similarly situated peers at the company. It is to be expected that candidates will come to us with different sets of skills and experiences and therefore will be paid at different points in the stated range.
