Summary We are currently seeking a Finished Goods Logistics Planner to join our team in Racine. In this role, you will coordinate outbound logistical operations including order management, inventory management, packaging, warehousing, and transportation to ensure sufficient supply of goods and products at the lowest cost. The planner is responsible for using transportation models that reflect changing business conditions and implement a transportation network with the lowest total overall costs. They will be responsible for maintaining all the system parameters in the logistics and planning systems. They will monitor KPIs and proactively adjust the network and the shipping parameters to meet KPIs. The planner will maintain SOPs related to transport planning and drive continuous improvement with Kaizens. The planner will also work on more advanced Kaizens utilizing project management methodologies. The planner will follow the lean manufacturing methods while implementing transportation projects. The planner is expected to be a self-starter and accountable for meeting targets.
