Systems Administrator

Description We are seeking a Systems Administrator to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for a variety of tasks, including the design and implementation of cloud and on-premise solutions, providing support for client computer networks, and guiding entry-level technicians. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with Project Manager/Solutions Architect to devise detailed project plans and ensure their successful execution

Contribute to the design and implementation of both cloud and on-premise solutions with the assistance of the Proactive Team

Stay updated with best practices in design, implementation, and security for cloud and on-premise solutions

Maintain regular communication with clients, keeping them informed of project progress, notifying them of impending changes, or agreed outages

Provide support for various business-related technologies including Windows operating systems, Office 365, Remote Access usage, VOIP, mobile devices, etc.

Manage disaster recovery backup solutions and work with vendors/partners as needed to resolve client issues

Troubleshoot advanced server, network, firewall, and switch issues

Provide escalated support to other team members and offer detailed documentation and explanations for escalated issues

Conduct product training sessions for all team members on the cloud solutions implemented for our clients

Guide entry-level technicians, fostering their growth and development

Ensure all work performed, time, and expenses are promptly and accurately recorded in ConnectWise

Exhibit ability to adapt to changes quickly and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Requirements - Proficiency in Cisco Technologies is required.

Familiarity with Citrix Technologies is essential.

Must have knowledge of Cloud Technologies.

Experience with Dell Technologies is necessary.

Understanding of Firewall Technologies is crucial.

Ability to conduct AB Testing is expected.

Expertise in Active Directory is a must.

Proficiency in Backup Technologies is needed.

Must be capable of performing Cluster Analysis.
