Job Title: Entry Level Mechanic

Job Description

Now hiring for an assembly mechanic. In this role, you will work on large railroad equipment, disassembling and reassembling parts as needed. You will perform fabrications, repairs, and adjustments based on blueprints and schematics. Key responsibilities include repairing or replacing motors, hydraulic hoses, and pneumatic hoses.

Responsibilities

Disassemble large railroad equipment.

Perform fabrication and adjustments to equipment as needed.

Utilize blueprints and schematics to reassemble equipment.

Repair or replace motors, hydraulic hoses, and pneumatic hoses.

Conduct custom repairs using power tools, pneumatics, hydraulics, and impact tools.

Essential Skills

Mechanical assembly experience.

Experience with auto mechanics or farm equipment tear down.

Knowledge of maintenance repair and welding.

Understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Willingness to learn

Experience with power tools and hand tools.

Preferred experience or knowledge of working with hydraulics or pneumatics.

Work Environment

You will be working in a friendly, team-oriented environment on a 1st shift schedule. Occasional overtime is available and sometimes required on Saturdays.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
