Job Title: Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist (entry level!)

Job Description

An exciting opportunity with one of the world's leading medical device and supplies companies! This is a great time to join the AR Team as the company continues through its current growth stages. We are looking for a motivated individual who has a degree in Accounting or Finance and is seeking a career path in A&F. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience, either in the form of an internship or an early contract role, and should be proficient in using Excel, particularly with vlookups and pivot tables.

Responsibilities

Assist in cleaning up the backlog of Accounts Receivable invoices.

Follow up with escalated accounts to ensure payment of past due balances.

Process and print copies of invoices for 50-100 customers.

Perform ad hoc Excel tasks, including creating charts, graphs, data manipulation, and subtotaling of customers' financial information.

Essential Skills

Degree in Accounting or Finance.

Proficiency in Excel, particularly with vlookups and pivot tables.

Hands-on experience in accounting or finance, either through an internship or early contract role.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Customer-oriented mindset.

Experience with ERP systems (SAP is a major plus).

Experience in a corporate environment.

Work Environment

The position offers a hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office. Working hours are from 9 AM to 6 PM, supporting California customers. The team consists of 11 people, with 7 in the AR/Collections role. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a team that is developing new corporate structures and frameworks and to grow with a company transitioning from a small to a large organization.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
