Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Somerset, New Jersey. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in billing, and maintaining smooth cash flow processes. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

Process and manage accounts receivable transactions, including billing and invoicing.

Reconcile customer accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.

Apply incoming payments to appropriate accounts through efficient cash application processes.

Handle commercial collections by following up with clients to ensure timely payments.

Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve billing issues effectively.

Maintain detailed records of financial transactions and collections for auditing purposes.

Utilize software tools such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to streamline financial operations.

Generate and analyze financial reports to support decision-making and identify trends.

Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries related to billing and payments.

Requirements - Proven experience in accounts receivable, billing, or related financial roles.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP.

Solid understanding of account reconciliation and cash application processes.

Demonstrated ability to manage commercial collections and interact with clients professionally.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

Effective communication and organizational abilities.

Knowledge of financial regulations and best practices.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
