Accounting Assistant

Olsten Staffing is currently recruiting for an Accounting Assistant located in Florence, South Carolina.

The ideal candidate will support the accounting department with day-to-day tasks including data entry, invoice processing, and reconciliation. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic who is looking to grown their career in accounting and finance.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with accounts payable and receivable processing

Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers

Perform data entry and verify financial transactions

Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts

Help prepare monthly financial reports

Provide administrative support to the accounting team

Respond to vendor and client inquiries in a timely and professional manner

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or coursework in Accounting or Finance preferred

1-2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience (internships count!)

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, etc.)

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to handle confidential information with integrity

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Monday-Friday

8:00 AM-5:00 PM

$22.00 per hour based on experience

Pay Details: $22.00 to $25.00 per hour

Our benefit offerings provide employees the flexibility to choose the @type of coverage that meets their individual needs.
