Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Naples, Florida. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting key accounting operations. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and collaborative work environment while enhancing your accounting expertise.

Responsibilities:

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Perform bank reconciliations to verify and maintain financial records.

Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger.

Assist in the month-end close process by reconciling accounts and preparing financial reports.

Review and analyze general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting procedures and improve efficiency.

Monitor financial transactions to ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Requirements

Proven experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting functions.

Strong knowledge of general ledger processes, journal entries, and reconciliations.

Proficiency in performing bank reconciliations and supporting month-end close activities.

Familiarity with accounting standards and practices.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
