Infrastructure Specialist System Administration

CTG is seeking to fill an Infrastructure Specialist - System Administration opening for our client in Phoenix, AZ.

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Duration: 7 months

Duties:

Serve as a System Administrator with a primary focus on Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence).

Lead and execute the migration of Jira and Confluence from Data Center to Atlassian Cloud (SaaS).

Administer, configure, and maintain Jira and Confluence environments in accordance with organizational requirements.

Utilize Atlassian migration tools such as Jira Cloud Migration Assistant and Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant to perform successful and seamless transitions.

Collaborate with various teams to understand requirements, coordinate testing, and ensure proper integration with third-party plugins.

Support user management tasks, including integration with identity providers like Okta and Azure AD.

Provide troubleshooting and technical support, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.

Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, support AWS deployments, and manage APIs and Linux environments.

Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and user satisfaction.

Skills:

Proven experience in migrating Jira and Confluence from Data Center to Atlassian Cloud.

Deep understanding of Jira and Confluence architecture, configurations, and administration.

Proficiency with Atlassian migration tools and best practices for Atlassian Cloud.

Familiarity with third-party plugin compatibility and integration.

Experience with user management and SSO integrations (Okta, Azure AD).

Strong technical background in AWS, APIs, CI/CD, Java, and Linux.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Experience:

5+ years in system administration with a focus on Atlassian toolsets.

2+ years of hands-on experience with Atlassian Cloud migrations.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
