Major/Essential Functions:
Marketing Assistance:
Perform creative and administrative duties within the Marketing area as assigned.
Plan, produce, edit, and assist with delivering creative multimedia content via photography, videography and graphic design for department social media, websites, and other digital platforms as assigned.
Post content for University Student Housing social media accounts.
Maintain video/photography and general marking equipment inventory.
Communicate and collaborate effectively with colleagues and vendors to meet expectations and deadlines.
Maintain effective and professional working relationships with colleagues and vendors.
Customer Service:
Provide excellent internal and external customer service via phone, email and in person.
Serve as a knowledgeable marketing resource for staff and provide necessary follow-up.
Resolve staff issues quickly and efficiently.
Identify potential problems and inefficiencies and work to find solutions to prevent delays in marketing processes
Videography:
Provide customer service in person and via project management system to clients concerning their video needs
Write scripts, create storyboards for video projects to better communicate the vision of the project to the customer
Use of camera equipment for projects including the peripheral equipment
Management of the shoot, actors, props, and scene
Proficient mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite software for post-produciton
Time management skills for scheduling shoots and for post-production
Ability to work in a team-oriented, creative envrionment
Photography:

Management of the shoot, interaction with attendees of events
Proficient mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite software for post-production
Time management skills for attending shoots and for post-production
Ability to work in a team-oriented, creative environment
Department and Campus Support:
Assist with department-wide events and initiatives.
Assist with special projects as requested by University Student Housing or external departments.
Serve on committees as assigned.

Schedule varies; can be created by student, but must be between the house of 8-5

Preferred Qualifications:
Maintain a minimum 2.50-semester TTU/TTUHSC grade point average and 2.5 cumulative TTU/TTUHSC grade point average.
Maintain a minimum enrollment of 6 credit-hours; It is preferred that candidates maintain a minimum of 12 undergraduate credit hours or 9 graduate credit hours or have equivalent total credit hours between TTU & TTUHSC.
Must pass a criminal background check and drug test.
Must maintain satisfactory academic and student conduct standing with the university.
Preferred Student Assistant Videographer/Photographer applicants should have experience in the following:
Photography and videography of people and events
Proficient use of DSLR
An understanding of color spaces, image quality settings, and formats
Experience editing in the Adobe Creative Suite (primarily Lightroom, PhotoShop, and Premiere)
General knowledge of audio equipment
Ability to collaborate with a team
Ability to adhere to timelines, think creatively, and utilize professional communication skills.
This individual will work in a customer service setting. Successful candidates will have demonstrated leadership experience and academic achievement.
Candidates should demonstrate a mature and friendly attitude, present a well-groomed appearance, and possess sound decision-making skills.
