Warehouse Worker
Job Description
Candidates will be working in a medium-sized warehouse where they will operate a sit-down forklift and handheld pallet jacks to supply the plant with necessary materials to keep production running smoothly. Candidates need to be familiar with computer systems as they will work with a computer after picking orders off a paper sheet. The warehouse receives numerous deliveries from FedEx and Amazon. Most products handled are nuts and bolts, wire swivels, with some items weighing up to 50 lbs. Equipment is available to assist in moving heavier items. Responsibilities include building kits for the production facility and performing basic shipping and receiving duties.
Responsibilities
Operate sit-down forklifts and handheld pallet jacks.
Supply the plant with necessary materials to maintain production.
Pick orders from paper sheets and enter information into computer systems.
Receive and process deliveries from FedEx and Amazon.
Handle products such as nuts, bolts, and wire swivels, with some items weighing up to 50 lbs.
Build kits for the production facility.
Perform basic shipping and receiving duties.
Essential Skills
6+ months of experience as a Warehouse Worker.
6+ months of forklift operating experience.
10+ years of demonstrating a good work ethic.
10+ years of ability to learn and consistently show up to work.
Experience with inventory management, order picking, packing, material handling, RF scanners, loading, and unloading.
Experience with shipping and receiving, pallet jacks, sit-down forklifts, and data entry.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently.
Good attitude and willingness to take direction and learn.

Work Environment
The team consists of five employees. The warehouse is divided into three areas: WH 3 for motors, WH 2 for medium-sized objects like nuts and bolts, and WH 1 for small nuts and bolts where shipping and receiving is done. The required PPE includes high visibility clothing, steel-toed boots, and hard hats. Employees may occasionally need to go to the main facility to grab or move materials, using a sit-down forklift or a gator for smaller pickups.

This is a Contract position based out of Blair, Nebraska.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
