Kiewit Engineering Group Inc., has a position in Lone Tree, CO.

Civil Engineer - DUTIES: Provide geometric design (horizontal alignments, vertical alignments, typical sections, super elevation) of roadways and highways in accordance with industry design standards including AASHTO. Develop of 3D models utilizing InRoads, Civil3D and/or other design software. Provide interdisciplinary design coordination to ensure that project elements are designed as an integrated unit. Develop preliminary design concepts for highways including geometrics, construction sequencing, and 3D models. Create exhibits for meetings and proposals. Provide final design of project elements including: roadway geometrics, roadway design plans, signing and marking plans, maintenance of traffic plans, wall plan and profile sheets.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience stated herein to involve use of Open Roads Designer (ORD) or Civil 3D to design and model proposed roadways and use models to extract quantities. Also, 1 year of experience stated herein to involve ORD or Autocad to develop roadway plans for design and construction and use established quality control procedures to ensure plans meet corporate minimums. Finally, 6 months of experience stated herein to involve Microsoft programs including Word, Excel and Powerpoint to manage, track and status design progress, quantities and memos
