TravisMathew Brand Representative (Independent Contractor)

Love golf, great apparel, and a sharp-looking sales floor? Get paid to represent TravisMathew in stores near you.

TravisMathew was born in Huntington Beach, California, in 2007 to close the gap between stiff, traditional golf wear and the laid-back SoCal lifestyle. The result is apparel that looks as good on the course as it does everywhere else. Now part of Callaway, the brand has grown well beyond the polo into denim, footwear, accessories, and a women's line.

As a TravisMathew Brand Representative, you'll be the brand's presence inside Golf Galaxy, DSG, and Nordstrom in your area. Each visit has two goals: make the line look its best, and get store associates excited to talk about it.

Why This Is a Great Fit

Flexible, supplemental work alongside what you already do

Represent a premium brand you'd actually wear

Ideal for retail merchandising pros, golfers, and apparel enthusiasts

Engagements begin in December

This is an independent contractor (1099) opportunity, not a full-time role.

What Each Visit Includes

Merchandising: Bring displays, fixtures, and signage up to TravisMathew's visual standards

Stock and sizing: Work backstock so key styles, colors, and sizes are on the floor and fully stocked

Styling: Present product in the brand's relaxed, on-course-to-anywhere look

Associate engagement: Share the TravisMathew story, fabrics, performance features, and key styles with store teams

Relationships: Become the go-to TravisMathew expert for store staff and management in your territory

Field intel: Spot merchandising opportunities and report competitive insights

Visit reporting: Submit photos, intel, and a clear summary through ThirdChannel's mobile app

What You Bring

An eye for golf and lifestyle apparel: fits, fabrics, and the details that set a brand apart

Experience in retail, merchandising, styling, or brand ambassador work (preferred)

A detail-oriented eye for a clean, well-sized, on-brand presentation

Strong people skills and a natural ability to energize store teams

Organized, dependable, and self-motivated

Comfortable with mobile apps and everyday technology

Smartphone (iOS 17+ or Android 13+)

Reliable transportation to stores within your territory

Engagement Details

Independent contractor (1099)

Visit frequency: Once or twice per month, up to 2 hours per visit

Pay: $26/hr
