Description
The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a skilled Senior Delivery Consultant to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, you'll work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives. You'll be a key player in driving customer success through their cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
You bring deep solutions implementation and delivery understanding of Physical AI's building blocks (AI for automation, digital twin, robotics, edge solutions, simulation, and autonomous systems) as well as supply chain technologies. Architecting and deploying autonomous systems, robotics, simulation, digital twins, and industrial AI workloads on AWS, you'll provide secure, reliable, and scalable Physical AI infrastructure for customer innovation. You also bring a background in manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, fulfillment, and the larger supply chain landscape, helping enterprise customers plan and implement the technologies to design, operate, and transform their sourcing, production, transportation, and delivery networks. You'll work with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess current infrastructure, and propose effective migration strategies to AWS, ensuring adherence to best practices, optimizing performance, and managing risks throughout the project.
The AWS Professional Services organization is a global team of experts that help customers realize their desired business outcomes when using the AWS Cloud. We work together with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network (APN) to execute enterprise cloud computing initiatives. Our team provides assistance through a collection of offerings which help customers achieve specific outcomes related to enterprise cloud adoption. We also deliver focused guidance through our global specialty practices, which cover a variety of solutions, technologies, and industries.
Key job responsibilities
Providing subject matter expertise on manufacturing supply chains including warehousing, logistics, fulfillment, and production-line transformation, conducting on-site assessments, identifying automation opportunities, and building customer trust through demonstrated domain knowledge
Owning end-to-end architecture for Physical AI solutions on AWS, including simulation, digital twin, and synthetic data pipelines (e.g., NVIDIA Isaac Sim, Isaac Lab, Omniverse, OpenUSD, AWS IoT TwinMaker, SiteWise), cloud and edge ML pipelines, and enterprise integration, and guiding delivery from lab through pilot, production, and multi-site rollout
Designing, training, and deploying autonomy and perception systems across cloud and edge, including fleet data loops, robot policies (imitation and reinforcement learning, vision-language-action models) on SageMaker, edge inference (e.g., NVIDIA Jetson, TensorRT), ROS 2 or equivalent autonomy stacks, and integration with PLC/SCADA, OPC UA, MQTT, WMS/MES, and fleet management systems
Conducting hazard analysis and building safety cases for machines operating near people, defining test plans and autonomy KPIs (stopping distance, localization error, intervention rate, pick success rate, cycle time), running closed-course and pilot-site trials, and delivering runbooks, operator training, and handoff
Developing packaged offerings, delivery accelerators, reference architectures, demos, and training materials, and supporting pre-sales with AWS field teams and Physical AI Business Development teams
A day in the life
This team partners with our customers to assist in innovation within their business using AWS Emerging Technologies.
One week you are on a customer site with a laptop and a CAN sniffer, bringing up a new sensor stack on an autonomous vehicle and running closed-course brake tests. The next week you are in Isaac Sim randomizing lighting and textures to close a perception gap, pushing a retrained TensorRT engine to a hardware nodes fleet through Greengrass, and reviewing the safety case with the customer before pilot. Between engagements you turn what you learned into reference architectures the practice can reuse.
About the team
You'll join the AWS North American Professional Services (ProServe) Shared Delivery Team's Emerging Tech practice, a team focused on helping customers realize solutions with emerging and advanced technologies on AWS. We work directly with customers to solve their solution needs and you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams including specialists, solution architects, data scientists, and engineers. Our team values hands-on builders who are curious about the intersection of business and digital systems, and we're committed to creating an environment where every team member can grow, contribute, and innovate.
