Responsibilities The selectee will serve as a Management Analyst (Protocol and Directives) in the Office of Strategy, Planning, and Innovation, Enterprise Protocol and Directives Division. Typical work assignments include: Develops technically authoritative documents, reports, and information products that provide robust support for recommendations or proposed solutions, ensuring they are presented in a compelling and convincing manner. Coordinates efforts among diverse team members, fostering collaboration, and driving consensus to develop actionable strategies for resolving challenges and improving program efficiencies. Applies theories and principles of management and organization practices and procedures to develop and review new or modified work methods, organizational structures, management processes, etc. and recommends substantive changes. Manages, initiates, and oversees the proper development, drafting, and/or analysis of proposed directives covering key substantive programs throughout the Secret Service. Takes on leadership roles within committees, task forces, or working groups tasked with addressing systemic issues that affect line program operations. Qualifications You qualify for the GS-0343-14 level if you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level performing duties such as: Preparing policies and directives and delivering presentations to audiences at all levels to foster collaboration and drive consensus.
