As a Security Officer - Full Time on N Homewood Ave , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as education, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic community college campus. You will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Mon08:00 AM - 06:00 PM

Tue08:00 AM - 06:00 PM

Wed08:00 AM - 06:00 PM

Thur08:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, students, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed by site procedures.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the automotive location, including parking areas, entrances, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations.

Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the assigned property, reporting unusual conditions, hazards, and policy violations to site leadership.

Prepare clear and accurate reports related to incidents, observations, patrols, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
