The Finance Intern will support and assist the Finance team with a variety of activities, including financial reporting, financial data analysis, budgeting and forecasting support, and exposure to core accounting processes.

This role is designed to provide hands-on learning through supervised, real-world finance work while gaining exposure to multiple functions and levels within the Finance team. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Help develop reports and analyses to provide better understanding of how financial decisions impact financial performance. Prepare data and supporting analyses that contribute to management-level decision-making. Provide support for annual budgeting and forecasting processes. Gain an understanding of department trends and growth to support the forecast model. Assist with establishing reporting dashboards using financial and non-financial data. Review data with guidance to identify opportunities, anomalies, trends, and other relevant items that may impact performance of the business unit. Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. Perform bank and credit card reconciliations with review by a full-time team member. Assist in preparing journal entries and general ledger postings. Assist with data entry, financial record-keeping, and account reconciliations. Support the Finance and Accounting team on additional projects as needed, with appropriate guidance and review.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Actively working toward Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

Satisfactory completion of introductory accounting courses and a basic understanding of accounting and financial principles. High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility. Strong written and oral communication skills. Proficiency in Excel, as well as working knowledge in Microsoft Office Highly motivated with a desire to learn and take on new challenges.
