Manufacturing Production Coordinator

Position Summary: The Manufacturing Production Coordinator will be responsible for processing Work In Progress (WIP) orders and operational support functions. Communicates with machinists, purchasing, sales, operations, management, and outside vendors as needed. Able to provide accurate details and decipher the standard use of machines and material. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following, as well as other duties that may be assigned. Processes WIP orders in SYSPRO; reads prints, breaks down materials used per job, adjusts usage and time per operation issued, and goods receipts Resolves inventory and discrepancy issues Provides clerical and administrative support to the Production Manager and warehouse department Provides feedback on progress or issues in a timely manner to Production Manager Ensures project documentation and value assurance to the accuracy of job details input by operations, machinists Maintains a strong focus on job processing and problem Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) Proficiency in standard office and database programs/equipment Knowledge of SYSPRO preferred Education and Experience: 3 years' experience in a similar role within plastics distribution preferred High School Diploma or equivalent Travel: May require periodic travel to other branches Benefits Package: DailyPay Earned Wage Access Medical Dental Vision Flexible Spending Account 401K Plan with Company Match Basic Life and AD&D Voluntary Life Insurance Long Term Disability Employee Assistance Program Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid Holidays Morgan Stanley Financial Advice Short Term Disability Accident, Critical Illness and Hospital Indemnity MetLife Legal Plan Norton LifeLock United Pet Care Discount Program LifeMart Employee Discounts Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, however certain areas of the work environment may have elevated noise levels and require hearing protection.
