Description

We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to support a fast-paced finance team in Fort Worth, Texas through a Contract assignment expected to last 2-3 weeks. This role is ideal for someone who is highly accurate, comfortable working with large volumes of financial information, and confident using spreadsheets and accounting systems. The position focuses on maintaining clean records, assisting with daily accounting activities, and providing data entry support tied to accounting operations.

Responsibilities:

Enter and update accounting data with a high degree of speed and accuracy across financial records and internal systems.

Process invoices and supporting documents while helping maintain organized and complete transaction files.

Assist with accounts payable activities by reviewing payment details and preparing information for timely processing.

Support accounts receivable tasks by recording incoming transactions and helping reconcile account activity.

Use Microsoft Excel to sort, validate, and analyze financial data for reporting and audit readiness.

Contribute to accounting system-related data cleanup and record preparation as part of an Oracle to NetSuite conversion project.

Work with accounting staff to identify discrepancies, correct data issues, and maintain accurate documentation.

Requirements - Previous experience in an accounting clerk, data entry, or similar finance support role.

Working knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to manage and review large data sets.

Comfort using accounting software such as QuickBooks and other computerized financial systems.

Demonstrated accuracy in data entry and invoice processing tasks.

Solid computer skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage priorities during a short-term project.
