Job Description

The Assembly Technician performs manufacturing assembly of solar panels and batteries, including both mechanical assembly and electrical wiring. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to read and interpret wiring schematics, and a high level of attention to detail to ensure products meet quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Assemble mechanical and electro-mechanical parts and components for solar panels and batteries according to established procedures.

Follow detailed work instructions, engineering drawings, wiring schematics, and assembly procedures to complete tasks accurately and safely.

Use basic hand tools and equipment to perform mechanical assembly and electrical wiring operations.

Perform visual inspections at various stages of assembly to verify that products meet defined quality standards and specifications.

Handle and assemble small parts that require precise hand coordination and fine motor skills.

Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficient and safe production.

Report any defects, issues, or deviations from specifications to the appropriate personnel.

Work collaboratively with team members to meet production schedules and output targets.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Palo Alto, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
