Position Overview
Kelly Services is hiring dependable and hardworking Customer Service Representatives/Dispatchers for a contract-to-hire opportunity in Elmhurst, IL.
The assignment is expected to last approximately 3-6 months, with the possibility of permanent hire sooner based on attendance, work quality, schedule compatibility, performance, and business needs.
Job Summary
The Customer Service Representative/Dispatcher will manage maintenance and project service calls in real time to help ensure technicians operate efficiently and customer service-level agreements (SLAs) are met. This position supports customer satisfaction and field-service efficiency while reducing the day-to-day call-management workload for the District Manager.
Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities
Monitor service and project calls for an assigned region.
Reassign calls based on SLA requirements, technician availability, and technician location.
Develop and maintain an understanding of the assigned territory to effectively manage call assignments.
Respond to customer escalations and coordinate resolutions with Service Technicians and District Managers.
Alert the District Manager to at-risk SLAs and service issues that cannot be resolved.
Document service-call activity and actions in the Service Center system.
Work with District Managers to understand technician and regional objectives, priorities, and performance targets.
Perform call-management functions that support technician efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Maintain accurate and timely communication with customers, technicians, and management.

Knowledge of the assigned territory and technician locations to support effective call management.
Understanding of systems and procedures used to handle and document service calls.
Strong customer-service skills.

Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED required.
Prior customer service experience or equivalent problem-solving experience required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Excel, and Word.
