We are a premier aerospace manufacturer in Tacoma, and we are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist.

We are looking for a skilled and motivated team member to work in our CNC Department, machining polyurethane foam.
This is hands-on manufacturing. Meaning, you'll be on your feet, working with our HAAS and CMS machines, and meeting high-quality, aerospace production standards. Previous CNC experience is required. Reliable daily attendance is also required. If you have a history of missing shifts or arriving late without notice, please do not waste your time or ours.

What You Will Do
CNC Machinist will operate computer-controlled tools to machine or process parts, tools, or other work pieces primarily of polyurethane foam but other materials as well. Reads and interprets blueprints, work orders, and related documentation to determine methods and sequence of operations, in addition to, dimensional and finish specifications.
Measure dimensions of finished work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments, templates, and fixtures
Mount, install, align, secure tools, attachments, fixtures, and work pieces on machines, using hand tools and precision measuring instruments
Ability to effectively and efficiently setup and breakdown machines, removing finished work pieces, tooling changes, or work piece placement, according to required machining sequences
Read, interpret and convey instructions, verbally and in written form
Requirements
Must have a high school diploma or GED
Have a minimum of 2 years of CNC experience
Experience with GD and T
Must be able to receive and interpret instructions and directions from supervisors and peers
Must demonstrate good judgment to perform the job correctly and safely
Must be process minded with experience leading and participating in Continuous Improvement initiatives
Demonstrate a daily commitment to advancing the company's core mission, vision and operational values
Be a fast learner who can understand and follow technical instructions
Be responsible, disciplined, and detail-oriented
Ability to work efficiently in a workshop environment

Other duties as assigned, such as helping other departments to meet company goals
Preferred Applicants will also possess the following:
Experience operating HAAS and CMS machines
Process control minded
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Physical Requirements
Standing 8 hours per day
Finger dexterity - the ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small objects
Arm-hand steadiness - the ability to keep your hand and arm steady while moving your arm or while holding your arm and hand in one position
Shift
This position requires that you are available for either day or swing shift. We offer a $1.50 shift premium for anyone on swing shift. Overtime is optional and never mandatory!

PAY STARTS BETWEEN $25 - $35 per hour, PLUS CASH BONUSES paid 3 times per year.

Our Total Compensation Package is Beyond the Industry Average and can easily earn you over $100K per year.
