The incumbent applies knowledge of healthcare data, clinical processes, organizational performance, information systems, quality management principles, and evidence-based practice to improve clinical and operational outcomes. Responsibilities Located in the Rogue Valley, White City allows easy access to Metro-area of Medford while remaining engrossed with nature. White City is an unincorporated community in Jackson County, Oregon, in the Rogue Valley. It is about nine miles north of Medford and 34 miles north of the California border. Nurse (Clinical Analyst) provides facility-level leadership in the development, governance, validation, interpretation, and analysis of clinical and operational data to support nursing evaluation, healthcare quality, patient safety, regulatory compliance, and organizational performance improvement. Duties include but not limited to: Leads and facilitates Lean improvement projects, Rapid Process Improvement Workshops (RPIWs), process mapping, workflow redesign, and performance improvement initiatives across clinical and administrative services. Applies Lean, Systems Redesign, Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA), root cause analysis, change management, and evidence-based improvement methodologies to improve quality, patient safety, efficiency, access, and the Veteran experience. Provides consultation, facilitation, and coaching to executive leadership, managers, supervisors, and frontline staff regarding organizational improvement strategies. Develops project charters, implementation plans, outcome measures, sustainability plans, and executive reports for improvement initiatives. Monitors project outcomes through performance metrics and data analysis to evaluate effectiveness and identify additional opportunities for improvement. Promotes a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, employee engagement, and High Reliability Organization principles throughout the medical center. Provides education and mentorship related to performance improvement methodologies and organizational change. Coordinates oversight of facility SAIL performance measures and organizational quality metrics. Monitors national performance measures, analyzes trends, benchmarks organizational performance, and identifies opportunities for improvement. Collaborates with executive leadership, service chiefs, and program managers to develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate action plans to improve organizational performance. Prepares and presents executive reports, dashboards, scorecards, and performance analyses for the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), Quality Council, Governance Committees, and other organizational leadership groups. Provides consultation regarding interpretation of national performance measures, SAIL methodology, benchmarking, and strategic performance improvement initiatives. Coordinates facility responses to national performance reviews and collaborates with Quality Management, Accreditation, Patient Safety, Risk Management, Infection Prevention, and clinical services to support organizational excellence. Supports strategic planning activities through analysis of organizational performance data and continuous monitoring of quality outcomes. Promotes data-driven decision making and organizational accountability for sustained performance improvement. Qualifications Basic Requirements: English Language Proficiency. Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate accrediting agency and accredited by one of the following accrediting bodies at the time the program was completed by the applicant: The Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE); OR Individuals attending a master's level bridge program in nursing who have completed coursework equivalent to a bachelor's level degree in Nursing may have opportunity to become registered as a nurse with a state licensing board prior to completion of the bridge program. Upon achievement of a State license, the individual may be appointed on temporary basis and later converted to a permanent appointment upon successful completion and graduation from the bridge program. Nurse II Demonstrates leadership in delivering and improving holistic care through collaborative strategies with others. A BSN with 2 years of professional nursing equivalent to Nurse I, Level 3; OR an MSN with one year of specialized nursing experience equivalent to Nurse I, Level 3; OR a Master's degree in a related field with a BSN and one year of specialized nursing experience equivalent to Nurse I, Level 3; OR a Doctoral degree in Nursing with no professional nursing experience; OR a Doctoral degree in a related field with a BSN with no additional professional nursing experience. Nurse III Executes position responsibilities that demonstrate leadership, experience and creative approaches to management of complex client care beyond the immediate practice setting.
