Summary About the Position: This is a Supervisory Management Analyst, GS-0343-13 position for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Southwestern Division, Dam Safety Production Center, Tulsa, Oklahoma. For additional information on USACE Tulsa District click Here Responsibilities Serves as the Management Support Branch Chief for the Dam Safety Production Center-Tulsa (DSPC T). Chief provides leadership, strategic oversight, and policy direction for all administrative and business operations programs supporting DSPC T's national mission. The position requires expert knowledge of administrative management, human capital processes, budget execution support, and organizational operations within a complex, matrixed USACE environment. Independently plans, organizes, and directs the work of the administrative and analytical staff; interprets policies; resolves complex administrative issues; and ensures effective execution of all assigned programs. This position oversees the following functions: Administrative Assistants, Administrative Officer, Program Analyst, and Intern Program. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience in at least two (2) of the following areas: (1) Business Operations, managing administrative programs (travel, procurement, records) and advising on policies; (2) Human Capital, preparing staffing/recruitment packages or administering training and intern programs; or (3) Team Leadership, serving as a lead analyst or project manager directing workflows and guiding junior staff. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12). Education Note: Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
