Job Summary

We are seeking an organized, professional, and dedicated Site Administrator to join our Gabby's Guppies team. This position combines leadership, administrative responsibilities, and teaching support to ensure the daily operations of the center run smoothly while maintaining a high-quality environment for children, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the childcare center.

Assist with staff scheduling, enrollment, attendance tracking, and record keeping.

Support classroom operations and provide teaching coverage as needed.

Maintain compliance with state licensing regulations and center policies.

Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members.

Assist in onboarding and supporting teaching staff.

Handle parent communication and address concerns professionally.

Maintain accurate documentation and program records.

Skills

Strong organizational and leadership abilities.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of childhood development principles and childcare regulations preferred.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Proficiency with basic computer programs and administrative tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS

Acquire and maintain CPR/First Aid certifications.

Pass background checks completed by the Department of Human Services and the Michigan State Police Department.

Complete necessary trainings before working with children.

Previous childcare, education, leadership, or administrative experience preferred.

Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
