As a GCP Technical Account Manager (Cloud Infrastructure Engineer III), you will support Public Sector customers with cloud adoption, operational planning, technical issue resolution, and stakeholder coordination. Working alongside senior team members, you will help maintain account health and coordinate activities across customer and delivery partner teams. You will contribute to reliable, secure cloud outcomes in complex public-sector environments. This remote role is available to candidates who can work from within the continental United States.

Work you'll do

As a GCP Technical Account Manager (Cloud Infrastructure Engineer III) on the AI & Engineering team, you will be responsible for:

Coordinate technical activities across assigned customer workstreams and track customer issues, risks, dependencies, action items, and upcoming milestones.

Collaborate with client Support, Product Engineering, and Site Reliability Engineering teams to resolve technical issues and customer escalations.

Support customer launches, capacity planning, product releases, and operational readiness activities.

Prepare materials for technical reviews, quarterly business reviews, and customer meetings; document customer needs and communicate product feedback to client teams.

Recommend Google Cloud practices that improve adoption, reliability, security, and performance; escalate complex technical or customer issues to the Senior Technical Account Manager.

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor's degree or 12+ years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure, cloud operations, software development, or technical consulting.

4+ years of experience supporting customers with Google Cloud implementations, cloud transformation programs, technical support, customer launches, release management, escalations, or technical consulting.

1+ years of experience designing, developing, supporting, or operating microservices, distributed systems, and application programming interfaces (APIs) using software development practices.

Must currently hold a Google Cloud Professional certification in at least one of the following: Professional Cloud Architect; Professional Cloud Database Engineer; Professional Cloud Developer; Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer; Professional Cloud Network Engineer; Professional Cloud Security Engineer; Professional Data Engineer; Professional Machine Learning Engineer; or Professional Security Operations Engineer.

Ability to travel up to 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred:

Experience supporting public-sector customers in Google Cloud environments.

Experience coordinating customer launches, capacity planning, product releases, or operational readiness activities.

Experience preparing materials for technical reviews or quarterly business reviews.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $110,000 to $170,000.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
