Our RNs are integral in ensuring safe care and the highest quality outcomes are prioritized for every patient.Schedule : Three 12-hour shifts starting at 5am; Sundays off; no overnight shiftsCompensation : Pay ranges starts at $33+ per hour, depending on nursing and dialysis experienceBenefits :+ Paid 12-week training with preceptor+ Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits+ Life and long-term disability insurance are provided at no additional expense to the employee+ Paid time off (PTO), including holidays+ Extended Sick Bank (ESB) in addition to PTO - paid time for doctor appointments, sickness, or medical leave+ Retirement plans with $.50 of each contributed dollar matched for eligible employees, up to 8 percent+ Education reimbursement+ Employee assistance program+ Wellness program+ Among othersResponsibilitiesWhat You Can Expect:+ Prepare dialysis machine, its alarms, and treatment supplies and ensure quality standards are met+ Perform hemodialysis treatments per facility policies and procedures+ Ongoing patient education, training and health coaching+ Monitor patients during dialysis, assessing and communicating changes with physician and families+ Administer and chart all prescribed medications+ Follow CDC/CMS infection control regulations+ Participate in patient care conferences, rounds and chart reviews+ Document required patient education efforts+ Facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals+ Assist in medication inventory maintenance+ Lead a small patient care team+ Contribute to onboarding new staff members as directed+ Additional tasks as requestedQualificationsSuccessful Candidates Bring:+ Excellent communication skills+ Demonstrated clinical excellence+ Desire to collaborate with care teams+ Ability to problem solveEducation/Training:+ Accredited nursing degree required+ Dialysis experience not required, job shadow opportunities available+ DCI provides 3-months of comprehensive training, including classroom group sessions and one-on-one skills training+ New graduates encouraged to applyDCI is committed to building a diverse and inclusive organization.
