We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support a growing organization in New Jersey. This contract opportunity with potential for a permanent role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing day-to-day HR operations with employee support, onboarding, and benefits coordination. The person in this role will work closely with staff and leadership to help maintain a positive employee experience while ensuring HR processes run smoothly.

Responsibilities:

Manage core human resources activities across onboarding, employee relations, HR administration, and benefits support.

Coordinate new employee processing, including pre-employment documentation, clearances, and orientation-related tasks.

Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding workplace concerns, policy questions, and general HR guidance.

Support benefits administration by assisting with enrollments, changes, and employee inquiries.

Maintain accurate employee records and update information within the HRIS and related tracking systems.

Assist with recruiting activities, including communication with candidates and support for recruitment workflows.

Partner with internal teams to help ensure physicians and other staff meet required credentialing or documentation standards where applicable.

Contribute to ongoing HR process improvements and support operational changes or system-related updates as needed.

Requirements

Prior experience in a Human Resources Generalist or similar HR support role.

Hands-on background in employee relations, onboarding, HR administration, and benefits coordination.

Proficiency working with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office applications.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Clear written and verbal communication skills when working with employees, candidates, and leadership.

High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive employee information.
