Description

We are looking for a Project Administrative Assistant to support a contract assignment in Lompoc, California. This part-time opportunity focuses on coordinating client-facing administrative and field support activities that help individuals move toward stable housing and continued community engagement. The role combines office coordination, documentation, outreach support, and service navigation in a fast-moving environment, with work taking place primarily in the field.

Responsibilities:

Build rapport with individuals in the community through mobile outreach efforts and help connect them with available housing and support programs.

Organize client information, complete intake-related documentation, and maintain accurate case records and data entry across required tracking systems.

Assist with developing and updating individualized support plans by gathering information, monitoring progress, and documenting next steps.

Coordinate applications, identification documents, benefits paperwork, and other administrative tasks that help clients access housing and essential services.

Provide practical support during the housing process, including scheduling, appointment coordination, move-in preparation, and follow-up communication.

Work closely with landlords, service agencies, healthcare partners, and community stakeholders to address issues that may affect successful placement and housing stability.

Respond to urgent client needs by helping connect individuals with crisis resources, transportation assistance, and time-sensitive community services.

Participate in team meetings, case reviews, trainings, and cross-functional partner discussions while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and clear communication.

Requirements - Experience in administrative support, office coordination, or client service environments.

Ability to manage data entry, maintain organized records, and handle documentation with strong attention to detail.

Comfortable answering inbound calls, supporting front-desk or receptionist-style duties, and communicating clearly with diverse audiences.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with clients, community partners, and internal teams.

Capable of balancing field-based responsibilities with administrative follow-through in a changing work environment.

Sound judgment in handling sensitive information with discretion and appropriate confidentiality.

Flexibility to work a part-time schedule that may occasionally include evenings or weekends based on program needs. TalentMatch®
