Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations for in Santa Barbara, California. This Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping administrative processes organized, managing front-desk communication, and ensuring information is handled accurately. The role requires a detail-oriented approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to provide dependable support across a range of office tasks.

Responsibilities:

Manage incoming phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate contacts while maintaining a courteous and helpful experience for callers.

Provide day-to-day administrative support by organizing documents, preparing correspondence, and assisting with routine office coordination.

Perform accurate data entry and maintain records so that information remains current, complete, and easy to retrieve.

Support general office operations by tracking paperwork, filing materials, and helping maintain an orderly administrative environment.

Requirements - Previous experience in an administrative support, office assistant, or receptionist capacity.

Ability to handle inbound calls professionally and communicate clearly with internal and external contacts.

Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Working knowledge of standard administrative office procedures and general clerical practices.

Comfortable managing reception responsibilities and multitasking in a busy office setting.

Proficiency in basic office software and common business communication tools.
