This job is responsible for providing advanced end-to-end operational support for securities, loans, exchange traded derivatives and over the counter derivatives across multiple lines of business, and cross-business functional support through the lifecycle of a trade. Key responsibilities include ensuring trading and operational activities are completed accurately and before deadlines, researching and resolving complex issues, and simplifying client interactions. Markets Support specialist provides processing and execution support across Global Markets Loan Operations, serving as a subject matter resource for assigned processes. The role focuses on driving high-quality, timely execution, supporting complex loan onboarding and servicing, and ensuring adherence to established procedures, risk controls, and regulatory requirements.
This position partners closely with internal stakeholders, Finance, Technology, and external clients to support operational execution, client onboarding, and platform enablement. Associate acts as a key point of contact for client-facing communication, issue resolution, and while supporting adoption of new system features and enhancements.
The role serves as a liaison between the business, finance and technology, contributing operational input to system enhancements, testing activities, and business continuity efforts. Associate is expected to identify opportunities to streamline processes through automation and AI, improve operational efficiency, and support scalable operating models aligned to evolving products and client needs.
The role requires strong operational judgment, risk mitigation, execution discipline and timeliness, and the ability to lead through change, shifting priorities, and evolving client and business needs, while supporting complex transactions and client-impacting activities.
Responsibilities:
Provide processing of operational activities across assigned processes, ensuring deadlines, quality standards, and service expectations are consistently met
Coordinate and prioritize tasks, and support resolution of complex, escalated, and client-impacting issues
Serve as liaison between the business and Technology, supporting system usage, issue resolution, and platform enhancements
Manage heavy external client-facing communication, including escalation management, troubleshooting, and ongoing relationship support
Support new deals onboarding to the loan system of record and credit and loan documentaiton review.
Utilize AI and automation tools to streamline operational processes, improve efficiency, and reduce manual effort
Generate system enhancement ideas and partner with Team lead and subject matter experts through development, testing, and implementation
Participate in and support business continuity testing and resiliency exercises for supported platforms and processes
Work closely with Operational teammates and business partners to design and evolve the optimal operational model to support new products, structures, and initiatives
Ensure adherence to operational procedures, internal controls, and applicable regulatory and risk management standards
Understand process gaps, operational risks, and inefficiencies; and support implementation of process improvements
Partner with cross-functional teams (Technology, Compliance, Audit, Risk, and Finance) to support audits, testing initiatives, and control assessments
Promote collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement within the team
Required Qualifications:
2-5 years of experience in lending, Financial services and operations
Strong understanding of operational processes within a financial services or regulated environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and work effectively under pressure
Demonstrated ability to lead work efforts, coordinate tasks, and support processing execution in a fast paced environment
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, data analysis)
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills with high attention to detail

Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional work experience
