Job Duties:Read, study and apply the contract (front end portion, drawings and specifications) to effectively manage construction projects. Going to job sites to inspect current work in progress and attend progress meetings. Ensure that contractor is being held accountable for building the job as designed. Documenting and reporting what is observed. Certified Texas Contract Manager (CTCM) test is required within 1 year of being hired. Job will have field work as well as office work. In the office you will be writing reports on what you observed during your inspection. Will be using Microsoft products. May have to travel to Huntsville for trainings and meetings. You'd be a GOOD fit if:You have six years of construction or maintenance experience. Major study in construction would be preferred. You'd be a GREAT fit if:You have a bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by an organization recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation and 3 years of construction experience. You have general knowledge of Microsoft programs (i.e. Excel, Word and Outlook). Have great communication and people skills.
