Job Title: Warehouse Associate Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team in managing and organizing incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and inspecting for any damages. This role involves unloading trucks, properly storing materials, and preparing customer orders for delivery, all while maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.

Unload trucks and properly store materials in designated warehouse locations.

Pull, stage, and prepare customer orders for delivery.

Safely load delivery vans and trucks, ensuring materials are secured and protected from damage.

Organize and maintain warehouse inventory and storage areas.

Perform inventory counts and assist with stock replenishment.

Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment as needed.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

Assist drivers and warehouse team members with daily operational needs.

Essential Skills

Experience in warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving.

Proficiency in inventory control and logistics.

Ability to lift heavy items, up to 75 lbs or more.

Familiarity with organizing and storing materials in a neat and orderly fashion.

Must have a clean DMV record with no more than one point.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with construction materials such as window frames, windows, sliding glass doors, and french doors.

Competence in operating forklifts and pallet jacks.

Work Environment

The warehouse is a clean and organized space, free from manufacturing noise and dirt, though some dust may be present. Heavy lifting is required, with materials weighing up to 100 pounds, and teamwork is encouraged for tasks requiring assistance.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Benicia, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
