PURPOSE:

The Marketing Automation Specialist/Associate Data Analyst serves as Marketing's platform advocate and automation expert, helping the organization maximize value from Salesforce Marketing Cloud and related technologies. This role empowers Marketing to move faster, reduce reliance on IT and deliver more effective customer journeys through scalable automation solutions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Build, configure, test, deploy and optimize campaigns, customer journeys and automations across the MarTech ecosystem, with Salesforce Marketing Cloud as the primary campaign platform.

Translate marketing objectives into scalable audience, personalization and journey solutions.

Configure and maintain data extensions, audience segments, automations and campaign data structures in alignment with governance standards.

Troubleshoot campaign and platform issues, partnering with IT, Data & Analytics and vendors as needed.

Partner with Marketing stakeholders and cross-functional teams to remove blockers and advance campaign delivery.

Serve as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud subject matter expert and platform champion, promoting standards, best practices and effective platform utilization.

Drive opportunities to simplify campaign delivery, increase Marketing self-service and expand automation.

Execute quality assurance processes to validate audience selection, data readiness, personalization, journey logic and deployment configuration.

Monitor campaign performance and execution, investigate issues and recommend improvements.

Maintain documentation for campaign builds, automations, data structures, platform standards and repeatable processes.

Continuously expand knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and the broader MarTech landscape, applying new capabilities and best practices to improve Marketing effectiveness.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education Level: Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Business or related field OR in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or a comparable enterprise marketing automation platform.

Experience developing campaigns, customer journeys, audience segments and automations.

Knowledge of marketing automation, campaign orchestration and customer engagement platforms.

Familiarity with SQL and digital campaign development technologies.

Experience partnering across marketing, technology, data and analytics teams.

Experience in the health care industry.

Salesforce Marketing Cloud certification or commitment to obtaining certification.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

Knowledge of marketing automation, campaign development and customer journey orchestration.

Proactive, resourceful and committed to continuous learning.

Ability to translate business needs into scalable platform solutions.

Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines.

Salary Range: $60,552 - $120,263
