The Senior Director, Advertising Sales at Walmart Connect leads strategic sales planning and execution to drive growth within the advertising business. About the team:
The Senior Director will lead the Entertainment, Toys, and Seasonal business unit, which uniquely integrates endemic, ingredient, and non-endemic elements. This dynamic team focuses on identifying new monetization opportunities and forging strong partnerships across functions and external collaborators. Operating with daily rigor, the team drives strategic sales planning, negotiation excellence, and data-driven decision-making. Leveraging expertise in sales management, applied business technologies, and analytics, the group aims to unlock significant market potential while delivering measurable business value and fostering collaborative relationships to support sustained growth and innovation.
What you'll do:
Lead strategic sales planning and forecasting to drive advertising revenue growth and align initiatives with business objectives.
Develop and execute negotiation strategies for complex, high-impact agreements to maximize long-term stakeholder value.
Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external partners to support business programs and priorities.
Utilize data analytics and business insights to inform decision-making and optimize advertising solutions.
Guide and mentor team members on best practices in sales qualification, proposal development, and client onboarding.
Drive continuous improvement by implementing innovative processes and fostering a culture of excellence.
What you'll bring:
Extensive experience in sales management with proven ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans and forecasting.
Strong negotiation skills to lead complex, high-impact agreements and foster long-term stakeholder relationships.
Proficiency in applied business technologies and analytics to derive actionable insights and support data-driven decision making.
Deep understanding of product features and value propositions to effectively engage customers and guide sales initiatives.
Demonstrated financial acumen to evaluate business cases, track performance, and drive strategic improvements.
Expertise in relationship management to build collaborative partnerships across unique business functions.

San Bruno, California US-08848: The annual salary range for this position is $169,000.00 - $338,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
