About Your Role:
As a Lease Administration Assistant at Dollar Tree's corporate office, you'll provide critical administrative support to the Lease Administration team. In this highly detailed, legal-focused environment, you'll help maintain accurate records, process lease-related documentation, coordinate departmental administrative activities, and ensure the efficient flow of information across the department.
Your day-to-day job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
Document Management & Processing
Research, identify, and accurately assign store numbers to all incoming mail for proper distribution
Date stamp, organize, and promptly route mail and documentation to the appropriate recipients
Prepare legal documents for execution, obtain signatures, scan finalized documents, and distribute as required
Process lease-related legal documents in accordance with department procedures, including estoppels, SNDAs, amendments, options, commencement certificates, and related agreements
Prepare, organize, and distribute documents for scanning and electronic record retention
Synchronize and maintain department filing systems in accordance with established procedures
Administrative Support
Serve as the department's primary contact for printer, copier, and fax machine maintenance, repairs, and service requests
Prepare internal and external correspondence while ensuring proper filing and document retention
Compile data, organize records, and assist with routine administrative activities
Provide support with email communications, document preparation, filing, mailing, copying, and scanning
Assist with special projects and departmental initiatives as assigned by leadership
Records & Compliance Management
Log, organize, duplicate, scan, and file bankruptcy-related documentation
Maintain organized legal and lease-related records to support department operations
Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and consistency in document handling and record management
Maintain strict confidentiality when handling proprietary, legal, financial, or sensitive company information
Team & Department Support
Partner with Lease Administration team members to support departmental goals and workflows
Communicate professionally with management, team members, landlords, attorneys, and corporate leadership
Assist with process improvement and administrative efficiency initiatives as needed
Provide flexible support in response to changing business priorities and departmental needs
Your Required Skills and Experience:
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including professional email and telephone etiquette
Ability to prepare correspondence utilizing proper grammar, punctuation, capitalization, and business writing standards
Strong attention to detail and understanding of accuracy requirements within a legal or compliance-focused environment
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to research, analyze, and resolve issues with minimal supervision
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally with stakeholders at all levels
Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times
Ability to remain professional and adaptable while working under pressure and managing changing priorities
Preferred Requirements:
Administrative experience supporting legal, lease administration, real estate, or contract management teams
Experience working with document management systems and electronic records
Familiarity with lease documentation, commercial real estate, or legal processes
Experience managing confidential and sensitive business information

Starting Rate = $19.00 - $22.60 based on experience.
