Posting Summary

The Manager of Medical Education Operations provides operational leadership for the Office of Medical Education, reporting to the Senior Associate Dean for Medical Education. This role oversees daily office operations, supervises administrative staff, and leads process improvement initiatives to support the effective delivery of medical education programs. The position is responsible for ensuring accreditation readiness, regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and alignment with the Larner College of Medicine's educational mission.

The Manager leads cross-functional operational planning, oversees data collection and analysis to support decision-making and continuous quality improvement, and collaborates with OME leaders, administrative, finance, and human resources partners to optimize resources and organizational effectiveness. The role also maintains governance of approximately 100 medical student policies and procedures, oversees medical education web resources, and leads complex projects that enhance program operations, communication, and service delivery.

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

Bachelor's degree in a related field, and 2-4 years of relevant experience, including experience in medical education, healthcare administration, or education.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, project management skills, attention to detail and organizational skills are required. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment expected.

Previous supervisory experience required.

Desirable Qualifications

Experience with LCME programs and accreditation processes strongly preferred.

Proven track record managing complex projects and cross-functional initiatives.

Proven experience with team collaboration desirable.

Anticipated Pay Range 65,000-75,000

Other Information

A six-month probationary period is required.

Special Conditions Occasional evening and/or weekends required (if non-exempt position, may result in overtime), This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule with an option to split time between campus and elsewhere, in accordance with the university telecommuting policy, Background Check required for this position
