Job Title: Electrical Foreman Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Foreman who is proficient in bending pipe, installing light fixtures, pulling wire, reading prints, troubleshooting, and wiring commercial outlets.

Responsibilities

Expertly bend and install conduit pipes.

Install and maintain lighting fixtures.

Pull and connect wires according to project specifications.

Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Troubleshoot electrical systems and resolve issues effectively.

Wire commercial outlets and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in electrical work, including conduit bending and wire pulling.

Ability to install light fixtures and read blueprints accurately.

Experience in troubleshooting electrical systems.

Knowledge of wiring commercial outlets.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

OSHA 10 certification (OSHA 30 preferred).

Completion of a trade school program.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment

Work at a commercial construction site outdoors in the cold, as well as indoors. Be part of a team of five electricians led by a foreman. Wear construction and weather-appropriate gear along with PPE. The job site is an assisted living facility in Commack, with work required both outside and inside.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Commack, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
