Join a growing aerospace and defense engineering team developing electrical systems and electronic hardware for highly engineered products. This role supports the complete product lifecycle, including design, development, testing, qualification, manufacturing support, and product improvements.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Development
Design electrical systems, components, and assemblies based on customer and engineering requirements.
Create schematics, wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
Support PCB design, hardware development, and system integration activities.
Select electronic components and develop electrical architectures.
Testing & Validation
Develop and execute qualification, verification, and acceptance test procedures.
Design and support test fixtures and test equipment.
Perform hardware testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and root cause analysis.
Analyze test results and implement design improvements.
Cross-Functional Support
Collaborate with mechanical, systems, software, manufacturing, and quality teams.
Review customer specifications and translate requirements into electrical designs.
Support production, field returns, and corrective actions.
Assist purchasing and manufacturing with component obsolescence and alternate source qualification.
Engineering Documentation
Create and maintain engineering documentation and technical reports.
Process Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).
Support configuration management and document control requirements.
Ensure designs meet customer specifications and industry standards.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
3-5+ years of electrical design experience in an aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated engineering environment.
Experience with schematic capture, circuit design, and electronic component selection.
Experience supporting products from concept through testing and production.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a collaborative engineering environment.
Preferred Experience
Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design.
Wiring harness design and electrical assemblies.
Analog and digital circuit design.
Qualification and environmental testing.
Manufacturing support and sustaining engineering.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate has experience designing and testing electronic hardware for aerospace, defense, or other complex engineered products. They are comfortable owning designs throughout the full product development lifecycle and working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to bring products from concept to production.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $53.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
