Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Software Architect, Repair & Estimating for a leading technology organization. This individual will serve as a senior technical leader responsible for guiding engineering teams, driving architectural excellence, and helping shape the future of cloud-native application development. The architect will partner closely with development teams to establish best practices, review technical designs, influence architectural decisions, and support modernization initiatives across a large enterprise platform.

This role is highly collaborative and influence-driven, requiring someone who can effectively communicate complex technical concepts, gain buy-in from engineering teams, and help elevate overall engineering maturity. The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in Azure, .NET, C#, microservices, distributed systems, and modern architecture patterns, along with strong familiarity with AI-enabled application design and emerging technologies. Skills and Requirements

10+ years of software engineering experience with deep expertise in C#, .NET, and enterprise application development

Strong Azure architecture experience beyond application deployment, including designing cloud-native solutions and modern application platforms

Experience designing scalable microservices architectures and distributed systems

Strong understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD), API design, and modern architecture patterns

Experience with Azure technologies such as Service Bus, Functions, API integrations, messaging, and cloud-native application design

Ability to review code, troubleshoot technical challenges, and mentor development teams without being the primary hands-on developer

Experience guiding engineering teams through modernization and architectural transformations

Strong communication and influence skills with the ability to gain buy-in across multiple development teams

Experience creating architecture standards, best practices, and technical guidance for engineering organizations

Familiarity with AI-enabled application architecture and understanding how AI capabilities can be incorporated into enterprise software solutions

Ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical guidance for developers and stakeholders

Experience working across multiple teams in a highly collaborative environment Experience serving as a Center of Excellence (CoE) architect or engineering standards leader

Deep expertise with Azure Service Bus, Event Hubs, API Management, AKS, Container Apps, or other advanced Azure platform services

Experience with CQRS, event-driven architecture, and asynchronous messaging patterns

Experience modernizing monolithic applications into cloud-native microservices

Knowledge of Generative AI, AI-assisted development tools, and AI-driven application design

Experience supporting large-scale enterprise SaaS platforms

Prior experience influencing globally distributed engineering teams

Azure certifications or cloud architecture certifications
