The Warehouse Operations Manager will provide leadership & oversite at our warehouse located in Rancho Dominguez, CA. The Operations Manager will be responsible for seamless execution on existing business, improve upon existing processes and develop the team and drive growth. The OM is responsible for business planning, process implementation and improvement, talent management and oversight of operational functions to ensure that quality, growth, and efficiency goals are met.
Monday-Friday; 6:30a-3:00pm (OT as needed)
Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:
Operational execution for all services required of C.H. Robinson Customers
Drives the safety, efficiency, and accuracy of all operations
Conducts analysis of workload as compared to manpower and equipment
Ensures work schedules are in place to promote efficiency
Implements staffing model to align with workload and labor goals
Manages KPI's of all departments and drives performance coaching
Effective at containing costs & managing to a budget
Management of Operations: Order Fulfillment, Shipping,
Implements safety and sanitation schedules that ensure the facilities compliance with corporate, OSHA, and AIB standards
Ensures meetings are held reviewing warehouse issues
Works with Transportation to ensure smooth flow of inbound and outbound carriers
Partners with Service Assurance to ensure all customer needs are being met
Ensures daily pre-shift meetings cover safety, previous productivity, operational opportunities, forecasting workload and any other pertinent company information
Responsible for the training and development of the team
Perform gap analysis on all warehouse standard operating procedures
Participates in department or company meetings
Assumes responsibilities of Operational Supervisors/Managers on vacation
Ability to work Monday - Friday 2:00am - 11:00pm.
Ability to work overtime if needed - up to 2 hours per day.
Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirements
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 6 years of Warehouse operations experience
Minimum of 4 years people management experience
High School diploma or GED
Experience in a high volume/high transaction manufacturing and/or warehousing environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Excellent communication skills
Strong Excel skills
Strong statistical and math skills
Strong reporting and analytical skills

Compensation Range
$84,700.00 - $133,900.00
