Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Part Time Security Officer for a Restaurant in Boston MA

Mondays 3 PM - 1100 PM (With Option for More Shifts)

Starting Pay is $19.00 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training

As a Security Officer in Boston, MA , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Mon03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients, guests, and team members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail and dining location, including sales areas, entrances, exits, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter.

Observe and report unusual activity, potential hazards, and policy violations, helping to deter unauthorized access, theft, and disruptive conduct.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions according to site procedures.

Assist with access control, visitor direction, and crowd-flow support during busy shopping, dining, and special-event periods.

Minimum Requirements:

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
