The Sales Manager is responsible for the development, execution and
evaluation of sales strategies for retail and contractor customer
channels in the Clean Water Center. Responsibilities Carries out
supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations
policies and applicable law. Train, mentor and direct a team of retail
sales representatives to ensure customer satisfaction and sales growth.
In conjunction with the service manager, lead monthly water training
classes for the service and sales departments. Coordinate retail and
dealer sales activities with the Office Manager and Service Manager to
ensure clear inter-department communication. Conduct regular job shadow
with direct reports to assist in employee growth and ensuring adherence
to company standards Ensure all company safety standards and processes
to meet organizational policies, OSHA standards and minimize employee
risk are adhered to by direct reports at all times. Provide direction
and communication to employees so that customer wants are answered in
timely, efficient and knowledgeable manner. Provide continual evaluation
of sale department processes and procedures. Establish work procedures
and processes that support company and department standards, procedures
and strategic objectives Facilitate new processes, tools,
communications, training and methodologies to ensure operational success
in the sales department Collaborate with cross-functional managers to
facilitate relationships between departments to achieve organizational
goals and objectives Determine how to position and sell core products
and technologies through contractors, in-home sales, lead generation and
sales management Provide in-field assistance to contractor customers via
phone or in person to develop lasting partnerships built on superior
