Description:

Riggins Company, located in Hampton, VA, is known for its exceptional work in custom steel fabrication. We are currently seeking skilled Flux Core Welders. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise in crafting large structural fixtures for the US Navy and various industries in a work environment that is team-oriented, supportive, and focused on quality.

Requirements:

Must pass a FLUX CORE weld test.

Must pass 3G and 4G open root plate tests (x-ray and bend test).

Minimum of 5 years of welding experience in the fabrication industry.

Proficient in MIG and TIG welding of carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum; 6G preferred.

Responsibilities:

Read and comprehend blueprints, sketches, and templates.

Efficient with cutting torches, burning, and plasma torches.

Clean and prepare surfaces to be welded.

Follow instructions and act independently.
