Job Title: Inventory Associate
Job Description
The Inventory Associate is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels throughout the manufacturing facility by conducting inventory counts, cycle counts, and inventory audits. This position supports production operations by ensuring materials, hardware, and components are properly accounted for and available when needed. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in both warehouse and manufacturing environments. Forklift experience is a plus but is not required.
Responsibilities
Conduct daily inventory counts and cycle counts of production materials and parts.
Verify inventory accuracy and investigate discrepancies.
Organize inventory storage locations and ensure materials are properly labeled.
Maintain inventory records and documentation.
Track incoming and outgoing inventory transactions.
Support production teams by identifying and locating required materials.
Assist with inventory audits and reconciliation activities.
Move materials and inventory throughout the facility as needed.
Utilize inventory systems, spreadsheets, or paperwork to document inventory activity.
Follow all safety, quality, and inventory control procedures.

Work Environment
Schedule: 7:00 AM - 3:15 PM
Days: Monday through Wednesday
Duration: 3 days per week for a 4-week assignment
Work in a combination of warehouse and manufacturing environments
Active role involving inventory counting, material movement, and organization of stockroom areas
Collaborative team atmosphere with a focus on safety, quality, and operational excellence

This is a Contract position based out of Virginia Beach, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
