Overview

Aerotek is hiring entry-level and experienced Carpenter Helpers for commercial construction projects throughout Worcester, Newton, and Framingham. This role focuses on wood framing and prefabricated wall panel installation on large-scale commercial projects. If you are looking to build your carpentry skills, work alongside experienced professionals, and grow within the construction industry, this is a great opportunity.

Responsibilities

Assist with wood framing on commercial construction projects

Cut, measure, and install lumber as directed by lead carpenters

Help construct stairs, rafters, and other framing components

Install prefabricated wall panels and trusses

Support multi-family and commercial wood framing activities

Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Follow all job site safety requirements and OSHA regulations

Requirements

OSHA 10 Certification (Required)

Own basic hand tools and PPE

Reliable transportation to travel between multiple job sites

Wood framing or general construction experience preferred

Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Comfortable performing physical labor in varying weather conditions

Commercial construction experience is a plus

This is a Contract position based out of Taunton, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
